Carbon Reduction plan
At Leam TTC we understand our responsibilities and commitments in our Carbon Reduction Planning in order we adhere to the UK Government’s reporting standards.
We understand the importance of following the framework set out by the government to ensure transparency and accountability. Below the outline of Leam TTC steps and measures we are adopting for completing our Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) as a new start up business.
1. Commitment to Carbon Reduction
Leam TTC are committed to reduce carbon emissions, the ambitions of your our business in the context of the UK’s legally binding target is to reach Net Zero by 2050.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint
- As a new start up we have no clear baseline at present, however our CRP as we develop will include a clear baseline. This will be based on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions (as defined by the GHG Protocol):
- Scope 1: Direct emissions from owned or controlled sources (e.g., fuel used in vehicles, heating systems).
- Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by the business.
- Scope 3: Other indirect emissions, including those in the value chain, such as product transportation, business travel, waste disposal, and employee commuting.
3. Carbon Reduction Strategy
- Scope 1 (Direct emissions):
- As we enter new contract all vehicles [Geographical Infrastructure permitting] will be delivery by electric company vehicles.

- Scope 2 (Indirect emissions):
- We will transition to 100% renewable electricity.
- We will Install energy-efficient LED lighting across offices
- Scope 3 (Value chain emissions):
- We will work with suppliers who have committed to carbon reduction goals.
- We will encourage employees to use public transport or opt for electric vehicles.
- We will reduce business travel through the use of video conferencing.
4. Carbon Reduction Targets
Our targets are aligned with global climate goals and the UK’s Net Zero strategy.
- Short-term target (next 2 years): Reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 20%.
- Medium-term target (next 5 years): Achieve a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and begin reducing Scope 3 emissions by 10%.
- Long-term target (by 2030): Achieve a 60% overall reduction in emissions across all scopes.
5. Carbon Reduction Measures
Leam TTC are committed to include process improvements, new technologies, partnerships, and changes to company policy to support our CRP.
- Energy efficiency: Invest in energy-efficient equipment and upgrade existing systems.
- Sustainable procurement: Choose suppliers that follow sustainable practices and prioritize environmentally friendly products.
- Employee engagement: Run awareness programs to reduce energy usage and promote sustainable behaviors.
- Green infrastructure: Only to buy energy from sustainable green energy sources.

6. Monitoring and Reporting Progress
We will monitor our carbon footprint annually and report progress in our sustainability report. The emissions will be verified through third-party audits to ensure accuracy and transparency.
7. Governance and Responsibility
Responsibility for implementing the Carbon Reduction Plan lies with the Owner, in collaboration with the senior leadership team. The plan will be reviewed quarterly at the management meetings.
8. Offsetting
We will offset remaining emissions through verified carbon offset projects, including reforestation and renewable energy development in line with recognised standards.
9. Verification
Our carbon footprint and reduction achievements will be verified by an accredited third-party environmental auditing body annually to ensure the integrity and transparency of our reporting.
10. Public Communication
It’s important to maintain transparency and communicate your commitment to sustainability to your stakeholders, including customers, employees, and investors.

We will regularly communicate our progress towards our carbon reduction targets through our website, sustainability reports, and social media platforms.
